toy-poster-004Play for a child, like education is taken as inevitable as a given fact . “All children play” and to a certain extent this is true.

But we live in the 21st century where play and toys take on a different meaning where the old ways are now replaced by electronic ones. These changes bring pressure on parents to supply their children with the correct toy or the one that is the most popular.

Playing is part of education but many parts of our community; the economic crisis means that there is no money for the basics, never mind the extras which may be presents at Christmas or birthdays.

IBWA recognised that this was a problem area where we could help. We could re distribute to those in need from those who had more than they required. The Toy Bank was born and has helped many families and brought joy to children at the time of the year when all children should be happy.

This help and support to families is never ending and IBWA will be there for them as long as we can. To see how you can help please contact us.
